I agree with you and could not have articulated it any better.  Just one question - What's a STBX?

Well most guys I know are just tired of the games and lies. See for some reason women feel the need to lie by not saying anything at all.

(I am sorry but.. Not telling a person you have interests in you dealing with another party is a lie.)

To be honest with you North American women (Not all but quite a lot) within specific social classes are simply morally inept.

Women putting men down isn't a trend.  They've been doing that since the beginning of the feminist movement. 

Seriously this is how I see it from my perspective.  How a woman presents herself influences how I'm going to be attracted to her.  If her style of dress and hair is sensual I'm going to be more inclined to be interested in something deeper than sex.  If however she's wearing spandex and showing skin to the point where I can figure out what she looks like when she's not wearing clothes then I definited only going to interested in sex and since from my experience (and those of others) I've learned that pursuing only sex with women can lead to alot of unnecessary drama I'm more inclined to let her pass.

i think it has to do alot with where people are in their lives at any given time.  of course men want love and togetherness and sex, but i think we look at things from a different perspective.  and we have a more detatched sense of things when we're really not looking for a long term realationship.  when we get together with someone that we're very compatible with, if it's a bad time to try and be overly emotionally attatched we're more suited than women to stay distanced with our feelings and keep it on a purely physical level.
