Your Account

I can't login, or I forgot my username or password.

If you can't login, check to make sure that your "caps lock" key is off. Your username and password are CaSe SeNsItIvE. If you still cannot login, you can request to reset your password or contact us.

How can I delete my account?

If you are aboslutely sure that you want to delete your account, you can do so here. Please note that your account will be permanently deleted and irrecoverable!

How can I update my profile?

To update your profile, you must visit the Edit Profile page. You can move through the different parts of your profile by clicking the tabs at the top of the page.

How can I update my email address?

You can update your email address on the My Account page.

How can I report an error or other problem with the site?

To report an error or problem with the site, you can contact us here.

This site is CONFUSING! What am I supposed to do here?

On here you can do a LOT of things but let's break it down to four.

1. Chat.
2. Post (as in a forum) or PM a user(s).
3. Find someone or invite friends from other sites, (then you can do 1 or 2 with them).
4. Play games.
5. Power network and enjoy your free time.

If you are from sites such as Asian avenue, Black planet or Migente PM is the same thing as "send note".

If you are from Yahoo, Ichiban, facebook or MSN Groups PM is like an email but within the SpRnch Network.

SpRnch also has a program called "SpRnch" where you can search for people (who may not be on this site) and do the exact same things as you can do on this site listed above. You can search all over the internet with this tool however you have to be a member of SpRnch to use it.

As mentioned before there are so many ways you can do things this site, but you need to learn them.

The interface (the way the site looks and feels) is different than what you maybe use to. It has to be with all the functions this site has.
Join up (if your not already a member) and see why this is probably the best site you can use to find someone (for business purposes, friendship, dating or intimate relations) quickly and effortlessly.

Reporting Abuse

How can I deal with someone that is bothering me?

If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best solution. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. If someone continues to harass you despite your efforts, you can report them here.

How can I report spam or other inappropriate content?

You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report.

Privacy

Is my information kept private?

Absolutely. We do not share any personally identifying information about you to any third party.

How can I make my profile private?

If the administrator has enabled it, you can make your profile private by visiting the Account Privacy page.

How can I block users from contacting me?

You can block people by adding their username to your blocked users list. Visit the Account Settings page to learn more about how to block people.

What is SpRnch Guidelines?

Community Guidelines.
We want SpRnch to your central Social Networking hub. We've penned a few ideas and guidelines around making this a place you can call home. Note that your participation in SpRnch is always subject to our Terms of Use.

Participate and leave your mark: Post, Network and have fun. We are not looking for lollygagers.
Be nice: Treat each other with respect. Don't be that guy.
Don't spam: You're not fooling anyone. SpRnch is not for commercial use. Please don't use SpRnch for selling or promoting products and services.
If we discover that you're involved in SpRnching for profit we reserve the right to terminate your account permanently.
Don't be sexist, racist or a hater: Would you talk to your mom or neighbor like that?
SpRnch defines hate speech as speech intended to degrade, intimidate, or incite violence or prejudicial action against members of a protected network.
For instance, racist or sexist content may be considered hate speech.
There's a fine line here; for example, it's generally OK to criticize an entire nation but not OK to make criticizing generalizations about people of a particular nationality.
Don't indulge in the hateration.
Don't engage with the flotsam and jetsam: If someone is being a jerk or leaving bad comments, give the comment a ignore and report them to us.
